Goldsmiths College: 26 October-3 November 2018

An exhibition of 'Friends in the frame' is currently taking place at Goldsmiths College in New Cross until Saturday 3 November 2018 (9am to 9pm each day). Directions are below. The exhibition includes all the portraits with commentaries, and a 15 minute highlights version of the complete film. I'm crowdfunding for the exhibition printing costs: you can contribute here. Scroll down to see photos and the short talk I gave at the launch event.

How to get there
Goldsmiths College, 8 Lewisham Way, New Cross, London SE14 6NW
Go to either New Cross or New Cross Gate stations. The exhibition takes place in the Kingsway Corridor in the Richard Hoggart Building (the big red brick building on the main road). The Kingsway corridor is at the far end of the building, linking the two main corridors that run down each side. When you come into the main foyer, go right to get to the long side corridor. Head down here nearly all the way to the end, and you’ll see the Kingsway Corridor on your left.

Film and photos from the launch event

Here's the film of the short talk I gave at the launch event - plus a selection of photos from the evening.

I’m indebted to the Open Book project at Goldsmiths, which supports people from non-traditional backgrounds into Higher Education, for making this exhibition possible. In my day job as a life coach and mindfulness trainer, I do some work for students of the Open Book project – and a member of staff there was able to get this gig for me. Thank you Sarah, and thank you Open Book!
